Apparently, I was wrong.
It’s not hard to find good help.
I first encountered Joelle Reeder of Moxie Design Studios in the freelancer marketplace at Reedsy. I read her freelancer page, looked over the portfolio images she had, and I liked what I saw. I considered other web designers listing their talents and skill in the Reedsy marketplace, but none of them triggered my intuition like Joelle.
I closed my browser thinking, “She would be a good fit.”
It was almost a year until I reached the point in my indie author career that I felt it was time to approach her about a quote.
As with my narrator, I’m so glad I did.
Joelle is amazing, extremely personable and easy to work with, and an exceptional talent. My new author website is entirely her creation. I simply provided the tagline (The Novels of Robert M. Kerns), the book info, and the Linux web server (hey…I’m still a Server & Networks geek).
If you need a website for your business (and really, every business needs a website nowadays, even a simple one), you owe it to yourself and your commercial endeavors to consider Joelle.
I do not regret hiring her, and if I could go back and change it…I wouldn’t.

Just got to say I like all of your books in both series. Home Sweet Home is amazing. Great book! These just keep getting better and better. I am so looking forward to the Cole and Srexx book though, is there a time line for when you will release it?
PS: I have even purchased the audios of both series in Audible. (note: only the first 2 books, Awakening and Into Vushaar are available there now.
Thanks and keep writing.

Hi, Dean,
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment!
Drakmoor #3–“Archmagister”—is at the audio-proofing stage. My narrator delivered it just as I was making several trips to doctor appointments for family, and I’m afraid it’s still needing proofed. My goal is to get that proofed by the end of November.
This year has taught me not to predict release dates when the book isn’t finished yet, so the release date for “The Fires of Aurelius” is still officially TBD.
Regards,
Rob
